PROJECT:

Soil temperature detection. The measurement of the evolution of soil temperature is an indicator related to the capacity of the land to preserve humidity. One could obtain thermal radiance using an appropriate infrared camera. Nonetheless, although one can obtain parameters such as altitude, orientation between the observer and the surface, some models require a multispectral camera to obtain the surface emissivity. In this project, we are interested in temporally and spatially fusing the multimodal information to obtain reliable measurements of soil temperature. During training and testing, we obtain environmental reference parameters with a meteorological station.
